The next phase of my career as a veterinarian has begun. I am excited to announce that I am opening my own clinic in SE Vancouver: Red Maple Animal Hospital

Running my own clinic has been a goal of mine for a long time now. With the support of my husband, I am finally seeing that dream become a reality.

If you’ve come to this site wondering where I am practicing now, now you know. RMAH will be my professional home for the foreseeable future.

Need an appointment? Click the link above, or call the front desk at 360-859-0003.

I am now also a certified veterinary acupuncturist.

Where to Find Me

Red Maple Animal Hospital. I am no longer practicing at any other location.

Career Interests

While I have extensive experience with complex medical cases, I enjoy building the bond between people and their furry family members by focusing on preventative and life-stage medicine. This allows me to develop individualized health care as we journey through all the parts of your pets’ life, from being a cute fuzzy baby to the well-seasoned geriatric.

My interest also includes surgery and dental procedures. I enjoy surgery because it can provide the opportunity to either help determining diagnosis or for treatment for a variety of conditions.

I have added acupuncture to my repertoire, in order to offer complementary medicine for my patients health and well-being. The effect can be especially profound to improving senior pets’ quality of life.

Family Time

When I’m not at the clinic, I am spending time with my husband and my two wonderful sons. Right now that means a lot of soccer, school activities and taking the kids to the library to pick out new books to read.

Of course, my family wouldn’t be complete without furry family members as well. Above is Juniper, a cranky old lady who was adopted about a year ago when she was relinquished for her ongoing health issues.

Below are Pythagoras the three-legged explorer and Obsidian the fluffy scardy-kitten. Both are rescues that have been with us for a few years now.
